Meet the 2016 Leaders of the Free World Fellows
Henry Alston Jr. 23
Henry Alston recently graduated in May, 2015 from The Lincoln University in Oxford, PA. in the field of Health Sciences. He was a member of the men's track and field team and also joined the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity (Nu Chapter) at Lincoln. He was elected as an officer and represented his chapter at numerous regional meetings.Also during his tenure at Lincoln, he completed a several month internship through Dial Americorp in Greenfield, MA.
"For us, this trip is more than a trip. Its an opportunity that doesn't come around for everyone. I personally wish to go to Africa to find out more about myself and my history. I also see this trip as a huge transition period in my life."

Karl J.Golden Jr. 20
Karl Golden, currently attends Manchester Community College, majoring in Marketing and Business Administration. Karl is interested in becoming a social entrepreneur. In high school Karl played soccer, football and tennis. Most recently he completed an internship as a Technical Assistant at Brown & Brown Insurance Agency.
"I wanted to be a Leader of the Free World Fellow, to enrich my cultural perspective and help others find their full potential while continuing to search for my inner purpose."

Quintin Fowlkes III, 24
Quintin is currently a High school Head Basketball Coach at the Springfield Renaissance School, as well as a High school Mentor and Paraprofessional. He runs after school program for young men in Middle school called, Young Men Matter Too (YM2) funded by the Wyman Teen Outreach Program and The Massachusetts Alliance on teen Pregnancy. Quintin is also a former member of Brothers and Sisters United (BSU) and Men Against Rape and Sexual assault (M.A.R.S) E-Board member At the University of Hartford.

Shemar Wheeler, 18
Shemar Wheeler is currently studying acting at California Institute of the Arts. In high school Shemar was the House Manager for various school productions and events.
