Leaders of the Free World (LFW) will be running our "Share your Travel Story/ #Payyourtravelforward" challenge to support the LFW project and raise awareness about the impact of international experience.
Why Support LFW? How Does it Work? 1) Using #payyourtravelforward, post your travel picture or a short video on twitter, facebook, or instagram account. 2) Tell us why this experience was meaningful to you. Did it change your life, career, or worldview? 3) Let folks know you'll be paying your travel forward by donating to LFW. (Donate to LFW) 4) Tag 3-4 of your friends challenging them to share their stories and participate in the #payyourtravelforward campaign. |

Who can participate in the challenge? Anyone from any age, race, gender, or nationality. Do I need to donate to participate in the challenge? No, but it's definitely appreciated, as it would help us out a great deal. The concept of "paying your travel forward" is to help someone else benefit from an international travel experience, who might not otherwise have the opportunity. Do I have to give a certain amount? Nope. We're grateful any amount you are able to give. Give $5, Give $500, it's completely up to you. What kind of picture should I post? Your picture should be related to your travel experience. If possible it should be more than just a profile picture. But the most important thing is that it's meaningful to you. How long should my video be? Your travel story can be as long as you like but the standard for online social media viewing is no more than 3min. You can also post a travel photo. Remember to clearly follow the 4 steps above.
